Salvia Paradise Nutmeg whole 50g

Nutmeg is a non-deciduous, strongly aromatic tree growing to a height of 15 m. Its homeland is Indonesia, but today it is already grown in many other countries with tropical climates. The crown of the tree is conical, symmetrically distributed with leathery and pointed leaves.
It has pale yellow flowers, from which the spherical to pear-shaped berries ripen. A seed is hidden in the berry - the so-called nutmeg (nut), which is wrapped in a fleshy, deep red bowl.

Nutmeg is used in the kitchen as a spice, but also for phytotherapeutic purposes. It is a very distinctive spice with a pungent aroma and a distinctive taste.

Nutmeg promotes digestion, appetite and helps maintain normal muscle and joint function.

Use:
Nutmeg is suitable for vegetables, soups, pasta or sauces. We recommend trying it with meat, potatoes or spicy desserts (eg gingerbread) or Christmas cookies.
